About Me

Hello! My name is Mrs. Meades. I teach second grade here at Coosada Elementary. I am married to my wonderful husband "Will." I have two beautiful daughters, and two Jack Russell Terriers. My place of residence is in Millbrook, Alabama. I came here from Louisiana and love Cajun food (Hot Boiled Crawfish is my favorite, Shrimp Gumbo is my second favorite." My hobbies are, sewing, scrapbooking, working in my yard, and I love shopping. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana Universtiy with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated Cum Laude, and am Highly Qualified by the Alabama State Dept. of Education. I have also completed (AMSTI) Alabama Math, Science, and Technology, along with TeamMath which are workshops offered to help us help our students become life long learners and productive citizens.
